Dwi’n cofio bod gen i obsesiwn ‘da dŵr fel plentyn…

I remember being so obsessed with water as a child…

“Dwi’n cofio bod gen i obsesiwn ‘da dŵr fel plentyn…roedd yr angen i ymdrochi yn llethol. Un tro, pan oedd fy mam wedi ymgolli mewn sgwrs hir ar y ffôn, ac roeddwn i’n rhy ddiamynedd i aros, llenwais i’r bath â dŵr oer (achos doedd gen i ddim caniatâd i ddefnyddio’r tap poeth ar fy mhen fy hunan). Nes ymlaen, aeth hi i’r ‘stafell ymolchi, ac roeddwn i’n eistedd yn y dŵr oer, yn gwbl hapus.”

“I remember being so obsessed with water as a child…the need to be immersed was overwhelming. Once, when my mother was preoccupied with a long phone conversation, and I was too impatient to wait for her to finish, I ran a cold bath for myself (because I wasn’t allowed to use the hot tap on my own): later, she found me sitting in it quite happily.”
